This 8-week support group is for Asian and Asian American neurodivergent adults.

WHO

Any Asian American adult in the U.S., aged 21+ who has ADHD, Autism, and/or Other Learning Disabilities (*No formal diagnosis required)

COST

$300 for all 8 sessions; sliding scale & payment plans available

A processing group for tools & techniques and navigating neurodivergence

TIME

75-minute evening sessions on Thursdays 5PM - 6:15PM PT | 7PM - 8:15PM CT | 8PM - 9:15PM ET

GROUP GOALS

To feel validated and receive compassion for your lived experience, to receive support, to gain strategies for navigating neurodivergence, and to discuss how to move forward with more confidence.

HOW IT WORKS

This group is interactive. You’ll be expected to engage in activities such as group discussions and activities, break out rooms, live journaling where you will be prompted to respond to questions, grounding/breathing techniques, and opportunities for reflection in between sessions.

Neurodiversity Introduction

  • Learn about neurodivergence and its impact
  • Share your neurodivergent story

WEEK 2

Masking and Adapting

  • Unpack your experience of masking
  • Discover how to adapt without conforming

WEEK 3

Social Relationships and Communication

  • Explore the social and communication challenges you’ve faced
  • Communication and boundary-setting strategies

WEEK 4

Executive Functioning

  • Strengths and struggles in executive functioning
  • How to celebrate your strengths in a world that does not

WEEK 5

Sensory and Emotion Regulation

  • Sensory stimulation sensitivity
  • How to navigate emotions, change, and unfamiliarity

WEEK 6

Intersectionality and Community

  • What it means for you to be neurodivergent and Asian/Asian American
  • Impact of the Model Minority Myth
  • Building community with others

WEEK 7

Building Strengths and Acceptance

  • Identify your unique strengths
  • Build self-compassion and self-confidence

WEEK 8

Moving Forward with Your Story

  • Reflection and take-away messagesIdentify your unique strengths
  • Connect with each other
  • Continue your journey beyond the group

A collective space to feel validated for your lived experience, to receive support from your facilitator and fellow group members, to gain strategies and tools for navigating neurodivergence, and to gather and discuss how to move forward with more confidence outside of the group.
