Hi, I’m Sakthi.
I became a therapist because I’ve always been drawn to understanding people on a deeper level, especially the parts of ourselves that often go unseen or unspoken. Growing up between cultures, I saw how easy it is to lose touch with yourself while trying to meet expectations, belong, or care for everyone else around you.
I work with teens, young adults, adults, and couples navigating anxiety, burnout, relationship struggles, identity challenges, emotional overwhelm, and life transitions. I especially enjoy working with thoughtful, emotionally aware people who appear high-functioning on the outside but internally feel exhausted, disconnected, or stuck.
I trained at Antioch University and have worked in clinical settings supporting individuals, couples, and families. My background includes person-centered, attachment lens, along with more depth-oriented training through the Jung Institute.
Working With Me
Clients often describe me as warm, thoughtful, grounded, and easy to talk to. I create a space where people feel safe to slow down, open up, and better understand themselves without fear of judgment. My approach is relational, depth-oriented, and collaborative. Together, we explore the emotional patterns, relationships, and experiences that may be contributing to anxiety, burnout, self-doubt, or disconnection. At the same time, I help clients build practical tools for emotional regulation, self-trust, and healthier relationships so they can feel more grounded and connected in everyday life.
Therapy for Anxiety
Anxiety can feel exhausting, especially when your mind is constantly overthinking, preparing for the worst, or carrying pressure from work, relationships, or family expectations. Many people with anxiety look “fine” on the outside while internally feeling overwhelmed and emotionally drained.
I help clients understand the deeper emotional patterns underneath their anxiety while also building tools to feel calmer, more grounded, and more connected to themselves. My work integrates emotional insight, mindfulness, nervous system awareness, and relational therapy.
Therapy for Burnout
Burnout often happens when someone has spent years being the strong one, the achiever, or the caretaker for everyone else. Over time, constantly pushing through can leave you feeling emotionally numb, disconnected, exhausted, or like you’ve lost yourself.
In therapy, we work on slowing down, reconnecting with your needs and emotions, and creating a healthier relationship with yourself so life no longer feels like survival mode.
Therapy for Highly Sensitive Persons/Empaths
Highly sensitive people often feel emotions deeply and can become overwhelmed by stress, conflict, or constantly caring for others. Many have learned to suppress their own needs in order to keep the peace or avoid disappointing people.
I help sensitive and emotionally attuned individuals create stronger boundaries, better understand their emotional world, and feel more grounded and confident in who they are.
Building Insight and Authenticity in Therapy
Many people struggle with balancing who they truly are with who they feel expected to be, especially within relationships, family dynamics, or cultural expectations. This can lead to people-pleasing, conflict, self-doubt, loneliness, or feeling disconnected from yourself.
Family experiences and early relationships often shape how we communicate, set boundaries, handle emotions, and connect with others. In therapy, we work on understanding these patterns so you can build healthier relationships, feel more confident in your voice and needs, and create deeper, more authentic connections.
This work isn’t about fixing you.
It’s about helping you come back to yourself, beneath the pressure, expectations, survival patterns, and roles you’ve had to carry for so long. There’s often a part of you that already knows something needs to
change, even if you can’t fully name it yet. If you’re feeling that pull toward something more real, more connected, and more fully you, that’s often where this work begins.
You don’t have to figure it out alone.
