Open to all Asian/American adults with ADHD, age 21+, anywhere in the USA

COST

$475 for all 10 sessions; sliding scale & payment plans available

WHAT

Support, accountability, and tips and strategies. This group will build the foundation and the skills you need to manage your ADHD and meet your goals.

TIME

75-minute evening sessions on Wednesdays from 5:30PM - 6:45PM PT | 7:30PM - 8:45PM CT | 8:30PM - 9:45PM ET

WHEN

GROUP GOALS

Connect with and support other adults with ADHD. Build motivation and learn the tools needed to meet goals. Empower each other to appreciate strengths and grow weaknesses. Apply lessons into daily life.

WEEK 1

Recognize & Accept your ADHD

  • Discuss the impact of your ADHD
  • Figure out your strengths and areas of growth
  • Commit to action

WEEK 2

Learn about executive functioning

  • Learn about neuroplasticity and the different executive functioning skills
  • Develop individualized strategies to improve skills
  • Narrow your priorities

WEEK 3

Practice Mindfulness

  • Practice attention with intention and metacognition
  • Build frustration and stress tolerance
  • Incorporate self-talk and self-care

WEEK 4

Shift Your Mindset

  • Develop strategies for getting into your stretch zone
  • Commit to progress
  • Develop an action plan

WEEK 5

Set Realistic Goals and Expectations

  • Recognize what is realistic
  • Plan steps to meet your short-term goals
  • Develop motivation for long-term goals

WEEK 6

Incorporating Strategies to Meet Goals

  • Integrate executive functioning strategies to work towards goals
  • Learn visualization and projection techniques
  • Pre-plan for obstacles and barriers with counter-strategies

WEEK 7

Building Habits

  • Improve planning and organizational skills
  • Create consistency with existing routines
  • Replace unhealthy habits with healthier ones

WEEK 8

Build Your Support Network

  • Build your coping skills toolbox
  • Elicit social support from friends and family
  • Expand your network beyond the group

WEEK 9

Maintaining Motivation and Momentum

  • Reflect on progress
  • Expand skills and strategies to other areas in life
  • Improve self-care

WEEK 10

Closing

  • Review of skills and strategies learned
  • Reflection and take-away messages
  • Connect with each other
  • Continue your journey beyond the group
