Hi! I’m Wynee, and I can help you manage your ADHD and understand yourself better.

You might have a goal in mind but are unsure about how to reach it and what the necessary steps are. Maybe you’re searching for the resources needed to accomplish this goal. If that is the case, you likely feel frustrated and discouraged due to the uncertainties in either your personal or professional life.

I work with clients like yourself who are navigating their own personal or career goals and milestones. I am here to help you understand who you are and what you are trying to accomplish.

My Approach

I typically begin by educating my clients as to what ADHD entails and then taking the time to listen to how this has affected their past and present experiences – their previous difficulties, how they interact with other people, their interests/hobbies, and their school or home environment. Then, together we identify current struggles and highlight their goals. I like to work with building clients’ confidence and collaborating on an obtainable system to help achieve these goals. Every session, I check in on the clients regarding what they have been doing in between our sessions to see if they are making the effort and holding themselves accountable.

My biggest strengths as a coach is my ability to be highly attuned to the feelings and emotions of those around me. I empathize with others regarding their situations, issues, and problems, and I provide the help and support they need by holding them accountable. I support them in breaking down bigger tasks into smaller, more manageable ones, and by creating structure and offering positive reinforcement. Additionally, one of my greatest strengths lies in building rapport with clients, developing a relationship that is not one-sided, but rather centered around equality and mutual respect.

My Background and Experience

Previously, I worked in a rehabilitation center for teens struggling with mental health and substance abuse. Many of my previous clients were diagnosed with anxiety, ADHD, depression, and bipolar disorder. Alongside working at the rehabilitation center, I also focus my time at LAUSD with students who struggle academically, helping them build foundational knowledge, gain momentum in their curriculum, and ensure that they are meeting the standards of their grade level. I also work with individuals who are in need of social-emotional connections.

More About Me

My path and interests in becoming a coach began after realizations in my experiences navigating my personal life and school. Coming from a low income household but still being able to take initiatives and discovering the necessary resources to excel in my education, career, community, and personal relationships, I was able to navigate certain challenges. After working at a rehab center, I also gained insight on the importance of mental health and its relationship with education. Because of this, I acquired a deeper understanding of how people perform better when someone genuinely cares about them. As a result, all of this culminated into a passion and desire to help others with similar struggles by creating an emotional connection using my own experiences while also offering the essential strategies and individualized programs to help them navigate and grow.

It would be an honor to be a part of your growth journey!
